Registration protection can provide protection for lost registration fees when a participant has to cancel or leave the event for a reason protected by the plan. protected reasons for event cancellation or interruption include protected injury or illness to the participant or a close family member, certain family employment issues, transportation delays, military/family/legal obligations and weather emergencies among other reasons.
